Youngest member selected to the Board of Directors of Mobile Meals of Toledo. I was only 25 years old at the time and served a one year term. I would have liked to stay longer, but I had to move to Chicago to attend medical school. Mobile Meals is Toledo's Meals on Wheels and has an annual budget of over $2 million dollars. We held monthly budget and board meetings and had over 800 volunteers and employees to oversee.

Spent countless Thursday nights volunteering at the health clinic providing free care, counseling, and advice to those without insurance throughout my four years of medical school.
